Mayor Randy Roach honored for 17 years of service by the Calcasieu Parish Police Jury

 Mayor Randy Roach Honored

Thursday, March 2nd, Calcasieu Parish Police Jurors recognized, Lake Charles Mayor Randy Roach for his 17 years of service to the residents of Southwest Louisiana. The parish and city collaborated on a variety of projects to benefit the community through the years. Mayor Roach was given a plaque by Police Jury President Kevin Guidry and thanked by Parish Administrator Bryan Beam for Roach’s long-term commitment to the people he served.

Roach was elected Lake Charles Mayor in 2000 and has played an integral role in arts and culture, transit, roads and utilities, downtown development and much more. 2017 is a fitting year to celebrate Roach’s 17 years of service as the city celebrates its sesquicentennial, the 150th anniversary marking when Charlestown became the city of Lake Charles.
